Happy almost Jewish New Year to all who celebrate π₯³ If you are looking to spend WAY too much time in the kitchen and make a huge mess in time for the holiday, allow me to recommend making homemade rugelach! I opted for Dorie Greenspanβs NYTimes recipe, but if I had to do it again, I would use the version in Deb Perlmanβs OG Smitten Kitchen cookbook - biggest difference is food processor vs stand mixer. I think stand mixer makes a more cohesive dough than the food processor did. Otherwise the recipes are nearly identical so itβs really a chose your own adventure π
